We want you to love your Amina Modest pieces. If an item isn’t quite right, we offer a 14-day return and exchange window starting from the date your order is delivered.
General Return Conditions (All Orders)
To be eligible for a return, refund, or exchange, items must be:
- Completely free of odors (including perfume), makeup marks, and deodorant stains.
Please note: We reserve the right to refuse a return if the item does not meet these conditions.
Are any items Final Sale?
Yes. Any items purchased with a discount of more than 20%, or marked as "Clearance," are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded.
North American Orders (Canada & US)
How does the return process work?
For our sisters in Canada and the US, you can initiate a standard physical return or exchange within the 14-day window.
Do I have to pay for return shipping?
Yes, customers are responsible for all return shipping costs. Original shipping charges are also non-refundable.
To help you save on return shipping, we can generate a return label for you using our discounted carrier rates. The cost of this label will simply be deducted from your total refund amount. We highly recommend using a tracked shipping service, as Amina Modest cannot be held responsible for return packages lost in transit.
How do I start a return or exchange?
Email us at returns@aminamodest.com with the subject line: [RETURN - Order #] along with a reason for your return.
When will I receive my refund?
Once your physical return package arrives at our facility, please allow 2-3 business days for our team to inspect the items and process the return. Once approved, your refund (minus any return shipping label costs) will be issued to your original method of payment. Depending on your bank or credit card provider, it may take an additional 3-7 business days for the funds to appear on your statement.
International Orders (Outside US & Canada)
How does the return process work?
Because our international shipping partners do not currently offer a return mailing service for destinations outside of North America, we handle your returns a little differently. If there is a genuine need to return the item within the 14-day window, we will process your refund without requiring you to ship the item back. You are welcome to keep the piece, alter it, or gift it to another sister who might benefit from it.

Amina Modest is a brand deeply rooted in Islamic values. Because we are unable to process physical returns from international buyers, we operate on a foundation of mutual trust (Amanah) and sisterhood.
We place our full trust in you, asking that refund requests be made with sincerity and only for genuine, valid reasons. We strive to conduct our business with Ihsan (excellence and fairness), and we trust that our community engages with us in that exact same spirit, knowing that Allah (SWT) is the Best of Witnesses over all our transactions.
How do I start an international return?
Please email us at returns@aminamodest.com with the subject line: [INTERNATIONAL RETURN - Order #] along with the detailed reason for your return request. Once our team approves your request, your refund will be issued to your original method of payment (please allow 3-7 business days for your bank to process it). Please note: Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
Damaged or Incorrect Items (All Regions)
I received a damaged or incorrect item. What should I do?
We meticulously inspect every garment before it leaves our facility, but occasionally mistakes happen! If you receive a faulty, damaged, or incorrect item, please email returns@aminamodest.com within 48 hours of delivery. Include your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos of the damage. We will happily send a replacement and cover all associated shipping costs.
