Mohammed Taha
Founder, Amina Modest
There was never a plan to build a fashion brand.
There was only a question.
In a world where clothing competes for attention — louder, tighter, shorter — I began to reflect on something quieter. What does it mean for fashion to protect dignity instead of challenge it? What does it mean for clothing to lower the gaze instead of demand it?
Amina Modest was born from that reflection.
Not from trends.
Not from seasonal drops.
But from conviction.
I saw how modest women were often given two unfair choices — compromise on values, or compromise on quality. Either the designs lacked refinement, or the prices made excellence feel unreachable. I believed they deserved better.
Amina Modest was built on three principles:
• Modesty without apology
• Excellence without inflated luxury
• Beauty without excess
Every fabric selected.
Every cut refined.
Every silhouette considered.
Not to impress the world — but to honor the woman who wears it.
This brand is not simply about abayas, khimars or hijabs. It is about restoring dignity to fashion. It is about creating garments that feel intentional, elevated, and principled — without ever shouting for validation.
As a founder, my role is not to stand in front of this brand — but to stand behind the mission that guides it.
And that mission is simple:
To create clothing that reflects inner strength, quiet confidence, and unwavering faith.
This is only the beginning.
